Jessie James: Animatic

For our final assignment, we had to create a 3 minute animatic using the scripts of classic movies and add our own twist to it! I picked Jessie James, and I thought it would be a fun idea to make Jessie James a horse vigilante. It was fun in concept, but I didn't realize I'd have to draw many horses!! Overall, this is currently my best storyboard, especially when it comes to my draftsmanship and shot choices, and I feel like I can confidently draw hundreds of Horses
The Great Monkey Mission

This was our 3rd project in the 2d storyboarding class. The assignment was to use a maximum of 100 frames to tell a short story. We were given 5 prompts, but I chose "characters climbing a hill, what are they doing? Are they trying to survive something? or maybe even rescue something." Doing this in only 50 panels was such a difficult challenge but there were a bunch of concepts and shots I really enjoyed.

My very first storyboard! I did this in between the winter breaks, and it made me fall in love with storyboarding. I love the character acting and funny expressions the most. I can't believe how much I've improved in one year, especially from taking the storyboard class.
